Does diet affect Keratosis Pilaris?
There is no evidence that diet, whether cutting dairy or meat, or going Keto, affects keratosis pilaris. Sometimes a change in diet has a placebo effect in patients, but there haven’t been any studies that link diet to keratosis pilaris. In a rush to get rid of KP, some people try to do as much as possible, looking for answers wherever they may be. But dermatologists recommend focusing on the skincare routine, and moisturizing, most of all.
