Can stretch marks fade?
Stretch marks can fade over time, but that time might be months to years. In some cases they may not fade at all or they’ll fade into hypopigmented scars (a shade that's lighter than your base skin tone, medically known as “striae albae”—white lines).1 Cosmetic treatments and laser therapies can help the marks fade faster, but usually require several visits and can get expensive.2
