Skincare products are typically assembled in a sterile lab setting—given the refillable nature of Theraplush, at-home assembly is required. To help you exercise particular caution when assembling at home, we put together these instructions:

—after handling the outer shipper box and prior to assembling Theraplush, ensure your hands are freshly washed and you are in a clean environment.


—be prepared to assemble quickly to limit the amount of time that the unsealed pod is exposed to air and light, which can degrade the efficacy of retinol.

—once the foil is peeled off the pod and cream is exposed, do not touch the cream. Immediately assemble by popping your pod into the base and tightly screwing together the components.


—upon assembly, keep pressing the pump until the cream surfaces. This ensures any air is evacuated from your pod.

Remove paper pulp tray from the outer carton. Break down the carton by tearing each standing corner so that it lies completely flat. Place both, the tray and carton, in normal curbside paper recycling.


Once emptied, rinse the Single Refill Pod with water and place in normal curbside plastic recycling.
